Meet our Coaches

The coaches at the Winchester skating club work together as a team. Team coaching creates a fully supportive atmosphere on the ice where all skaters feel encouraged. They work together with all the skaters by bringing their complementary areas of expertise, strengths, and personalities.  It has been shown that many skaters excel when exposed to different coaching styles.

• Over 25 years of coaching experience in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario
• Gold level in Skills and Freestyle
• 7th Figures
• Junior Silver in dance
• Junior Singles competitor 
• Competitive skater and did intensive training with international and Olympic level coaches and skaters
• Graduated from the “sports-etudes” figure skating program

Cheri Mitchell-Leduc

• Provincial Level certified coach
• Coach assessor qualified Star 1-5

• Over 25 years of coaching experience
• 5 years of judging experience
• Professional skater with Disney on Ice
• Gold level in Freestyle
• Gold Skills
• Gold Artistic
• Diamond level dance
• ISU dance levels.

• Graduated from the Arts Canterbury Dance program

Ashley Wheeler
